libsipxtapi-dev software package provides SIP stack, RTP media framework and codecs (headers), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsipxtapi-dev
libsipxtapi-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsipxtapi-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsipxtapi-dev *
You will get with libsipxtapi-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
